Karting

Before I got into track driving, I used to do a lot of karting.  I still occasionally go when I can, with family and friends.

Karting Trophies

Here are some of the trophies I have won at Karting over the years:

Corporate Games (Leeds) - July 2008

I managed to put in some good laps in my heats and qualified in 2nd for my Semi.  Unfortunately, there were a couple of faster drivers and I was unable to hold onto second, dropping one place to finish 3rd.  This was enough to get me through to the final though, starting 5th.  I eventually finished 6th, after being taken on the first corner - my weight did not help me get a good start!! :-(

As for the team endurance, we only managed to finish 6th for our heat, so did not make it to the final.  Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend, and would definitely be up for going again.
